The Austin Public Library is the service of Library which has been the primary source of knowledge for the people of Austin in Texas. The main branch of the library is 'The Faulk Central Library' is located at the 800 Guadalupe Street.
Another primary center, 'The Austin History Center' is located at the 810 Guadalupe Street. There are many branches of this library from where the people of Austin can get its service. The Carver Branch has an important position in the Austin Public Library's History. The present day Carver Museum was the first Carver Branch library building. It was also the first branch where black citizens were also served.
