Austin Museum Day is one of the most fun filled celebrations happening in the city. Austin celebrates with lot of pomp and show but it is often the least highlighted event among the others. Nevertheless, 30 museums of Austin participate in this event along with the mass. The first participant is the Arthouse at the Jones Center. Visit this museum and take part in the fun activities along with checking out the works of contemporary artists like Katrina Moorhead.

You cannot afford to miss the Big Game on the last day of the event in the Austin Children's Museum. Kids can play with giant checkers, chess and sudoko.
