Austin History Center - The History Center was formerly the main library of Austin. The center is also located at 810 Guadalupe St. that is just adjacent to the Faulk Central Library. The History Center is closed on Monday. From Tuesday to Saturday, it opens from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Library opens at 12 at noon and closes at 6 p.m. on Sunday. You can take the same bus routes to the center as that of Faulk Central Library.

Carver Branch - Located at 1161 Angelina St. 78702, the Carver Branch library has two permanent art collections on display. A collection of African masks and figurines and many other historical and contemporary articles on African American culture are offered. Carver Branch library is closed on Friday. The operating hours for weekdays except Friday is 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can visit the library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 2 to 6 p.m. in the afternoon on Sunday.
