A ride in the Austin Steam Train takes you back in history when the bellowing steam was a common site in the rugged terrain of Texas. An immensely popular tourist attraction, the Austin Steam Train is an Alco Diesel 442 engine, as pretty as a picture post card. The train rides are scheduled over the weekends when the visitors can enjoy a ride from Oatmeal Flyer to Bertram as well as a number of other routes.
