Hula Hut was opened in June 1993 by the owners of Chuy's Austin restaurant to deliver some of the unique Mexican flavor. The restaurant is located on the beautiful banks of Lake Austin, which provides this place a grand ambience. Since its opening the place has become the hot favorite among the crowd of Austin.
It has twin bars that extend over the water directly. During the summer months the dock of the boats twists itself into a bar. The ambience of the restaurant gives you a feeling of being on a beach of Mexico and enjoying drinks and food.
