The executive chef of Uchi Austin is Tyson Cole. He is the 38 year old passionate student of Japanese tradition. He was trained by two Sushi masters for around ten years. Cole is the winner of "best new chef in America 2005″ which was awarded by Food and Wine magazine. Paul Qui is the Chef de cuisine, Philip Speer is the Pastry chef, and June Rodil is the beverages director.
